Letters From The Field
My father has suffered from hip pain for many years and was told to wait until he was older before considering a hip replacement. He is now at the age and pain limit where a decision needs to be made. The Orthopedic Surgeon suggested trying Cortisol shots into the hip to see if they could stall the surgery a little longer.
He told my dad to work up the hip until it really hurts then come in right away and get the shot. The Surgeon would then know if Cortisol was an option. Just prior to him seeing the Surgeon I gave a bottle of Hunzana pH Drops to my parents to try. My Father is not the kind of person to try “new” things so immediately said no he wouldn’t use it, but I left it there because my mother wanted to try it.
Fast forward a couple months and my father has not been able to make it to the surgeon for the first Cortisol shot because he has had little or no pain, and can’t figure out why. I ask if he’s been using the Hunzana pH Drops and he says “What drops? I don’t know about any drops? Oh you’re talking about that weird stuff you gave us before to put in the water. No I’m not putting anything in my water when I don’t know anything about it”
The funny part of this is while my father was ranting on about not using it, my mother was winking at me and agreeing with him about not using it. When my father left the kitchen and mom and I were alone she said “he’s been using it for a couple months but doesn’t know it”. Seems as my father filled his many water bottles and put them in the fridge, my mother would secretly put the drops into each bottle when he wasn’t looking.
To date he still doesn’t know he’s using Hunzana pH Drops and his hip gives him very little pain if at all.
Vicki
